After working for 20 years in the field of Technical Documentation, I thought that this constructive experience provided the perfect foundation for my next challenge: to provide the best solutions to your business and your clients.
I’m also a proud member of the STC which is a most widely recognized professional association in the United States and in Europe.
Webmaster Volunteer in Washington, DC.
Since 2013, I’ve been working as Webmaster Volunteer for Washington Accueil Association.
Print & Web Design.
In 2012, I resumed my studies to acquire knowledge in a complementary and challenging field: Print and Web Communication (Associate Degree) because new media have progressively altered our way to disseminate information.
Technical Writing.
I obtained my Professional Master’s Degree in Technical Writing from the University of Technology of Compiègne in 2008, coupled with an information mapping® certification.
In 2009, I joined SkyRecon Systems – a growing computer security startup – as a Technical Writer and Translator.
Technical Translation.
I obtained my Master of Advanced Studies in Technical Translation in 1992 and was immediately hired by a consulting firm.
Then, I worked at NAVFCO − the Navy Branch of Défense Conseil International – which provides operational training courses based on the know-how of the French Armed Forces.
I was rapidly promoted to Senior Translator and Proofreader in charge of Weapons/Equipment.
Additionally, I was appointed to the position of CAT Administrator to handle a customized computer-assisted translation platform.
Études d’anglais.
J’ai obtenu une maîtrise d’anglais avec mention Très Bien à l’Université Catholique de l’Ouest (Institut de Perfectionnement en Langues Vivantes) en 1991.
